I’ve been glued to the news about the fires in Los Angeles. I am so upset and filled with grief about that continuing, traumatic disaster. So it feels really weird to write about anything else. But I’ve just had a major life shift and people have been asking about it so I thought I’d give you the details of what I’m up to. I’ve moved full-time to my cabin at Yosemite. In early December, I got a terrifying letter from my mortgage lender basically telling me that if I didn’t pay a ton of money my house would be foreclosed. This whole thing is a story for another day but all you need to know for now is that I’m dealing with it with the help of a few lawyer friends and I’m confident I’ll figure it out. I have no idea how, but I will because I always do.
